| INFORMATION SERVICES IN THE TESLA TEST FACILITY CONTROL SYSTEM | |
The TESLA Test Facility (TTF) Control system accomodates and integrates various hardware/software elements and control interfaces supplied by different collaborators of this international accelerator project. In such conditions one of the very important problems is to store the up to date information about all accelerator components and control subsystems and to provide reliable access to it. For the TESLA Test Facility this problem is solved with the use of such information services as the DESY WWW supported Document Management System, the TTF equipment database (ORACLE) and a set of applications created for the communication with it, the Equipment Name Server.
