RPC multigap gas detector can be used as a TOF detector at PHENIX. The simulation results of a RPC prototype detector are presented. It is shown that one can achive good intrinsic time of flight resolution (up to 50 ps). It is proposed to dispose such type of the detector at the front face of EMCAL.
