Multicomputer Data Acquisition Complex for the Experiment "Hyperon-M" on the Base of Electronics in standards MISS and SUMMA

Protvino, 2006. – p. 12, figs: 6, refs.: 17.

A structure of the multicomputer data acquisition system of the experiment "Hyperon-M" (Protvino, accelerator U-70) is described. It intended to collect and merge the experimental information from different detectors each having the electronics is the specific standard - MISS or SUMMA. The MISS electronics are working autonomously under control of the specialized controller LE-74 with collecting of information during the accelerator burst in its internal memory buffer which is dumped into the external storage device (Hard Drive Disc) in time interval between the accelerator bursts. On the contrary the SUMMA electronics needs software service of every event to make read out. In this article the software and hardware methods providing for the joint operation of electronics of the different standards and guarantee the correctness of mergering of the data fluxes are described. The net interactions of the different parts of the full multicomputer system and monitoring problems are also discussed.
