Precision Drift Tube Inside a Mylar Tube

The paper presents a technical design and assembly procedure of the precision drift tube housed inside a mylar pipe. Production technology of the drift tube body – the pipe made of 125 mkm mylar film powdered with aluminium from both sides is described. Test procedures and results to illustrate drift tube technical characteristics are presented.
