Data Acquisition and Control System for Detector on Drift Tubes at Electronics of the MISS Standard

The structure of data acquisition and control system (DAQC) for multichannel detector on drift tubes at electronics of the MISS standard is described. Its peculiarity is a using of specialized controller LE-83 for communication with computer and controller-timer LE-83T which do autonomously all actions to store information in its internal memory buffers in real time scale without obligatory external trigger launching signal. Rewriting of the stored data from buffer into computer memory with following its propagation through a local net takes place periodically every each time interval defined by the program configuring. The obtained information is processed on-line to control of hardware, generation of alarms at finding of errors in operation of the system and producing of the physical results promptly to an operator, who interacts with the system through a friendly graphical interface with possibility of the setup configurĀ­ing. The system is built as set of interacted processes which can work on one standard PC or be disĀ­tributed on a number of machines in framework of the local net.
