The New Synchronization System for the Beam Fast Ejection from the IHEP U-70 Proton Synchrotron

The paper grounds on the development of the new system providing the fast ejection syn­chronization with the accelerator cycle and the beam RF structure. The principle of conveyor execu­tion of tasks during the cycle is proposed and realized. That allowed creating the compact apparatus with extended possibilities. The functional modules realization is presented as a set of the digital auto­matic devices with the finite number of the inner states. The condition of the kicker magnet field syn­chronization with the beam RF structure has been formulated. The software algorithm, in particular, the initial data processing is briefly described. The main results of the work are shown. The comparat­ive characteristics of the old and new fast ejection synchronization system are given.
