Transliteration

This page contains transliteration rules accepted by IHEP Publications. The main goal of proposed rules is implementing conventions for English writing of Russian names. We use the conventions for our Web pages with no dependence on the manner used by authors themselves.

Generally accepted conventions for names of authors are very important for successful search in databases and other information systems. So authors themselves should be interested in some standard. Would you like if a scientific foundation miss your citations while making decision about your grant?:)

Proposed transliteration agrees in its basic features with one accepted by SLAC Library (HEP database) which in turn is one accepted by American Physical Society.
