Abstracts
This event was discovered through a study of the interactions of 1.5 GeV/c K-mesons in emulsions. The interpretation given to the subsequent events is as follows: A Ξ emitted following the interaction of a K meson produces a star one track which is a double hyperfragment which subsequently decays into a π, a singly charged particle and an ordinary hyperfragment. This latter hyperfragment subsequently decays into a π and three other charged particles. From a study of the angle of emission and ranges of all the charged particles involved in these processes it is concluded that the only reasonable interpretation of the event is as suggested.
