Abstracts
Two diffusion cloud chamber events are discussed, produced by 1.5 BeV --particles from the Brookhaven cosmotron. The lifetimes of the V01 are 4 x 10-11 and 3 x 10-11 sec respectively. Momentum measurements obtained for the decay products in one of the events (450 ± 80 MeV/c for the proton and 210 ± 70 MeV/c for -) are in agreement with the accepted Q value of 37 MeV. (Science Abstracts, 1954, 781. G. Field).
