K+ - + Mass Difference

Motivation
Theoretical evidence indicates the existence of a heavy meson in addition to the meson. The availability of analyzed K-meson beams at the Berkeley Bevatron allows a comparison of and K-meson masses with much greater statistical accuracy than was hitherto possible. This letter reports on the result of such a comparison between 743 K-particles and 65 mesons. (Extracted from the introductory part of the paper.).

Accelerator LBL Detectors EMUL
