Beam-Cavity Interaction near Transition Energy

Ànalysis of high intensity beam-cavity interaction near transition energy in the IHEP PS is given. It is shown that, after RF phase has been transfered, the dipole oscillations of the bunches in the batch may be excited by the pulsed RF cavities loading. The oscillations can occupy a noticeable part of the vacuum chamber radial aperture at the IHEP working level intensity ~(4/ 6)...$ 10^{11}$ protons per bunch.
