The Monte-Carlo differential cross sections for hard muon fraction of punchthrough have been estimated with PYTHIA and FRITIOF. The result was obtained for the kinematical range of 2.2<|eta|<3.4 and the energy cut above 6 GeV. This region is covered by the D0-SAMUS muon spectrometer. The fraction of the experimental differential cross section corresponding to these muons are given for the studied kinematic region.
