The problem of pressure dynamics for the test gas under molecular flow has been set up and solved to investigate the influence of some parameters of a long vacuum chamber for accelerating complexes on leak detection. The curves for concentrations distribution of the test gas along the vacuum chamber for different points of time and leak locations as well as concentration dependences versus the time have been calculated with the solutions obtained.
