The model of the tune adjustment system for slow third-order resonant beam extraction based on numerical solution of the beam motion equations by the Bulirsch-Stoer method is proposed. One-dimensional motion examined with the elimination of parasitic nonlinearities in a magnetic field and the momentum spread in a beam. The frequency responses of the system are obtained. The paper gives a better understanding of the system characteristics.
