Study of Atmospheric Conditions Influence on the Precision Functioning of Pressure Regulators in Gas Desks for Proportional Chambers
Protvino, 2000.- p.9, figs 5, refs.:5.

The impact of atmospheric pressure and temperature changes on the precision functioning of different types of regulators installed in gas desks for proportional chambers is considered. It is shown that for the maintenance of stability of a gas mixture composition within 1\% it is necessary to keep a portion of the volume above a membrane at a fixed temperature (for example, at a temperature of liquid nitrogen). The expression has been obtained, which relates the size of the stabilized volume with the error of a pressure regulator, caused by the change of atmospheric conditions.
