Âismuth Activation Cross Sections for High Energy Neutrons

Bismuth activation cross sections have been calculated in the frame of the generalized cascade model in the neutron enery range 15-1000 MeV. The obtained data have been used in comparison with two experiments performed at IHEP and RAL and in unfolding high energy neutron spectra from measurement data. The equilibrium shape of the cascade peak of high energy neutron spectra outside thick shields has been confirmed.
