The Operation of Gas Detectors Filled with Heavy Freon C3F8

The results of studying of an operation of detectors with homogeneous and sharp inhomogeneous inner electrical fields filled with heavy freon C3F8 are presented in this paper. Operation of
detectors filled with C3F8 in ionization and avalanche modes has been studied. Except for that it is shown, that the amplitude resolution of cylindrical counter is depend from a kind of ionization.
Carried out researches have shown, that the cylindrical counter operated in avalanche mode have the efficiency about 10%.
