The paper is described an experimentally found out effect of increase in speed of a type VAB49 DC electromagnetic breaker with increasing of the current breaking cycles number. Influence of this effect on endurance properties of the LHC/DQBS switches of LHC superconducting magnets protection system is analyzed.
