Mass measurements of the light neutral mesons in meson-nuclei interactions at momentum of 7 GeV/c the HYPERON setup

With the Hyperon-M setup in the meson-nuclei interactions at momentum of 7 GeV/c the mass mesurements of $\pi^o$-, $\eta$-, $K^o$-, $\omega$- and $f_2(1270)$- mesons have been performed with six targets: Be, C, Al, Cu, Sn, Pb. The experiment is not sensitive to the expected effects of $\omega$-mass midification in nuclear matter. As for the parameters of $f_2(1270)$-meson the obtained values are in statistical agreement with the table values for $f_2(1270)$-meson. The average values of the mass and width over all data of experiment, $m_{f_2} = 1275.8\pm1.0(stat.)\pm0.4(syst.)~MeV/c^2$ and $\Gamma_{f_2} = 190.3\pm1.9(stat.)\pm1.8(syst.)~MeV/c^2$, are in a good agreement with the table data. At the same time the experiment data are not allow to eliminate the possible effect of $f_2(1270)$-meson mass modification at the level better than $0.4\%$ at heavy nuclei.
