Basic properties of polystyrene scintillators produced in IHEP were measured. The scintillators developed on new technologies in IHEP are used in a different experiments both on the IHEP accelerator and on experimental setups of foreign physical centers (CERN, FNAL, BNL, DESY). The characteristic features of the detectors with scintillator - WLS fiber system were considered. Measurements of reflective efficiency for different surfaces, light yield and time resolution of scintillating detectors were performed.
