Relativistic Quark Model of Mesons

A relativistic quantum model of mesons formed by quarks and antiquarks with arbitrary masses is proposed. The quarks are described by the Dirac equations and the gluon field contribution is approximated by a straight-line string. The model descibes the meson mass spectrum and allows to estimate the s,c and b-quark masses and to obtain the relativistic wave functions of composite mesons.
