Performance data are estimated of a narrow-band beam feedback which is assigned to correct the UNK accelerating frequency in compliance with the evolution in time of a phase of the beam current fundamental radio-harmonic. Use of a periodic notch filter based on delay lines at VCO input and digital feedback signal processing is foreseen. Special attention is paid to the problem of ensuring non-excitation of both parasitic oscillatory modes in the phase-frequency loop itself, and of higher azimuthal and multipole modes of bunched-beam coherent oscillations.
