The transverse polarization of the muon due to the final-state electromagnetic interactions in the decay $K \rightarrow \mu \nu \gamma$ is calculated in the one-loop approximation. An absolute value of the transverse polarization of the muon does not exceed $4.0 \times 10^{-4}$, which is an order of magnitude less than the value obtained in~[1].
