Heavy ion linear accelerator based on radiofrequency quadrupole focusing

On base of NICA/MPD (JINR, Dubna) project design results it is demonstrated that the heavy ion linear accelerator consisting of RFQ input part and of RFQ DTL main part can be created. The 197Au31+ linear accelerator parameters are presented. The technical questions of accelerator calculation, design, making and tuning are considered.
