Observation of the anti-Ω⁺

Abstracts
We have observed an anti-Ω event. The anti-Ω is produced in the reaction K⁺d → anti-Ω Λ Λ p π⁺ π^– at 12 GeV/c, and decays via the mode anti-Ω → anti-ΛK⁺. The fitted mass for this particle is M _anti-Ω = 1673.1 ± 1.0 MeV. The anti-Ω-production cross section is of the order of 0.1 μb.
