Abstracts
We have observed an anti-Ω event. The anti-Ω is produced in the reaction K+d → anti-Ω Λ Λ p π+ π at 12 GeV/c, and decays via the mode anti-Ω → anti-ΛK+. The fitted mass for this particle is M anti-Ω = 1673.1 ± 1.0 MeV. The anti-Ω-production cross section is of the order of 0.1 μb.
